Looking for a job

I hope everyone is having a great Memorial Day!

   I am stuck at home blogging to probably no one and still looking on www.snagajob.com for someone who will actually hire a 16 year old, while my family is out at a BBQ having ribs, which are my favorite food of ALL. TIME. This 95lb body can eat a whole entire rack of ribs in...30mins? I don't know, I don't actually time myself.

    Anyways, I am 8 job applications in and still haven't heard from anyone and it's getting a little frustrating because summer starts on June 4th. I really have to find something to make some extra cash so I can actually have a life this summer compared to the last 5 summers I've had where I wasn't able to get money from my parents without having to work for it. Obviously, I did earn some money but it wasn't enough to say I had a very memorable summer. Oh how I wish I had the luck of my friends who just ask for money and their parents give it to them...but I guess at least I already know how to work for my own money? And maybe once I get hired, I'll end up with a higher position than they will get once they start working.

   Is that a bad thing to say about your friends?
